AI agents and developers

An agent for every doc

Any Autodocs guide with a recorded workflow can get its own agent: an Autobot whose job is to run those exact steps in its own browser.

THE PROBLEM

Not everyone should have to follow the steps

A guide tells a person how. Sometimes the person just wants it done. Create agent turns a guide into an Autobot whose one job is that task.

Create agent gives a doc its own Autobot whose job is to run the recorded workflow in its own browser, so anyone can ask it to do the task.

How it works

How does an agent for every doc work in Autodocs?

  1. 1

Open a doc with a recorded workflow

Create agent appears when the doc’s workflow is still kept.

  2. 2

    Press Create agent

Autodocs creates an Autobot told to run the recorded workflow in its own browser.

  3. 3

    Open agent

The doc now links to its agent. Ask it to do the task, with details such as the order number.

AI assist

Where AI helps

AI is used where it saves you work and is always visible: it writes the guide from your recording, and it finds elements that moved during a replay, marking those steps healed. You stay in charge of what gets published.

FAQ

An agent for every doc: questions

Can I create an AI agent from a how-to document?

Yes. Open the Autodocs guide and press Create agent; you get an Autobot that runs the guide’s recorded workflow in its own browser.

Why is Create agent missing on some docs?

It needs the recorded workflow behind the doc. For a doc without one, use Create workflow first.

Does the agent ask before risky actions?

Autobots ask before sending, buying or deleting unless you have told them to always allow that action.

Try an agent for every doc on a task you do every week.

Record it once in Autodocs. You get the guide for your team and the workflow for next time.
