How it works
How do you launch an employee community with Autessa?
- 1
Open the hub
The first person to open it becomes admin. General, Announcements, default tags and a pinned how-to post are created for you.
- 2
Shape it
Name and brand the hub, write the rules and welcome, create communities and set which ones everyone joins.
- 3
Bring people in
Everyone in your company can sign in right away. Import a roster to set departments first, and appoint moderators.
- 4
Grow the knowledge
Turn answers from threads into wiki pages, pin the essentials, and let the assistant point people to them.

One place for every office and team, on any device.

Integrations
Built on your Autessa company
Your people come from your Autessa company, so there is no separate signup. The assistant and Meme Studio run on AI agents built into Autessa; stock photos come from Unsplash and Pexels; links get rich previews; activity arrives by email.
Integrations →Security
Only your company, with clear roles
Only people in your Autessa company can sign in. Roles decide who moderates, admin notes never reach the member view, removed messages disappear for every recipient, file links are short-lived, and every moderator action is logged.

FAQ
Questions people ask about Autessa Community
Does Autessa have an internal community platform?
Yes. Autessa Community is an internal community platform for employees, with department communities, a discussion forum, direct and group messages, a company wiki, a people directory, an AI search assistant and moderation tools. Everyone in your Autessa company signs in with their existing account; there is no separate signup.
Does Autessa Community work out of the box?
Yes. The first time someone opens the hub it comes ready with General and Announcements communities, default tags and a pinned how-to post. From there you make it yours: name and brand the hub, write the rules and welcome message, create the communities and tags that match your teams, appoint moderators and build out the wiki, all inside Autessa.
Is Autessa Community an employee intranet?
Yes, it covers the jobs of a social intranet. Communities carry announcements and discussion, the company wiki holds policies and how-tos, the directory lists every colleague, and pinned posts keep the important things in view. It is built for conversation and shared knowledge rather than static pages alone.
Does Autessa Community have a wiki or knowledge base?
Yes. There is a company-wide wiki and a wiki for every community. Pages nest in a tree, every edit is a numbered revision with a summary, any revision can be compared side by side and restored, and moderators can lock or archive pages.
Can employees send direct messages?
Yes. Members can message one colleague or start a group with a title, from the inbox, the directory or a profile. Messages support attachments and emoji or custom image reactions, update live while the tab is open, and a weekday email lets people know about new activity.
How does moderation work?
Members report posts, comments or messages with a reason. Moderators review each report in its context, then remove, restore, lock or pin with a reason, or resolve or dismiss the report. Every action is written to a moderation log that admins can read.
Does Autessa Community have AI search?
Yes. The AI search assistant takes a plain-language question, searches posts, comments and the wiki with several keyword variants, and answers with a short summary plus the real posts and pages, grouped into Wiki, This week, This month and Earlier. It never invents posts; it only reports what the search found.
Who can see and join the hub?
Everyone in your Autessa company. The first person to open the hub becomes its admin and everyone else joins as a member on their first visit. Admins can pre-create members, import a roster, set roles, and block an account if needed.
Can I import my employees before launch?
Yes. Admins can paste or upload a CSV or text roster of email, name and department, preview it, and import. People who arrive on their own get a member record automatically, so the import is only for setting details up front.
Is Autessa Community an alternative to Workplace from Meta or Viva Engage?
It covers the same core jobs: communities, a discussion feed, messages and a directory, plus a built-in wiki, AI search and a moderation log. See the comparison pages for a fair, job-by-job look.
Does Autessa Community work on phones?
Yes. The hub is a responsive web app that works in phone, tablet and desktop browsers, and the AI assistant opens as a full-screen sheet on a phone. It also has light and dark themes.
