AI search assistant
Autessa Community has an AI search assistant for your internal community. Ask a question in plain language, such as how do we ship a release, and it searches posts, comments and every wiki with several keyword variants, then answers with a short summary and the real posts and pages, grouped into Wiki, This week, This month and Earlier.
Start with the Onboarding page on the company wiki, which links the checklist. Two recent posts in General cover laptop setup and who to meet.
The problem
The answer exists, but nobody can find it
Most questions in a company have been answered before, in a thread or a wiki page whose title uses different words. The assistant does the tedious part: it tries the synonyms, plurals and abbreviations a person would not, and brings back only what actually addresses the question.
What you get
- Opens from a drawer on every page; on desktop it sits beside the page, on a phone it is a full-screen sheet.
- Expands your question into three to six keyword variants: the core noun, a synonym, singular and plural, an abbreviation or a project name.
- Searches the wiki first, then posts, then comments when results are sparse; questions about a period, like this week, search that date range.
- Answers with two to four sentences that say what the hub has and what to read first, then cards for each result.
- Results are grouped into Wiki, This week, This month and Earlier, at most 15 in total, with a one-line reason for each.
- Never invents posts, pages or ids: it reports only what the searches returned, and says so when nothing matched, with two better keywords to try.
- Keeps the conversation, so a follow-up question builds on the last one; you can stop a search, retry, or start a new chat.
- Starter questions such as What does someone new need to read in their first week? get people going.

AI assist
Where AI helps
The assistant is an AI agent that searches posts, comments and the wiki, and can narrow to a date range. It never invents results, and rather than asking clarifying questions it makes a reasonable interpretation and searches.
