Autessa Booth Capture · event lead capture
Photo. A sentence. Saved.
Autessa Booth Capture is a trade show lead capture app. Photograph any badge and say a sentence about the conversation: AI reads the name and company, pulls out what they need and when, rates the lead Hot, Warm or Cold, and drafts a same-day follow-up in your own Gmail. Leads land in Autessa CRM with the whole booth conversation attached. Use it at your next show as is, and shape it to how your team sells in Autessa.

The short answer
What is Autessa Booth Capture?
Autessa Booth Capture is event lead capture and lead retrieval software for exhibitors and field sales teams. Reps capture people they meet at trade shows and conferences by badge photo, QR code, voice note, registration list match or typing, and every lead is qualified, rated and ready for a same-day follow-up.
It does not depend on the organizer’s lead retrieval device or badge provider: AI reads any badge from a photo. It keeps working on bad convention Wi-Fi because every capture is saved on the phone first. And it is part of Autessa CRM, so the event, the leads and every note from the booth live in the same place as your pipeline.
All features
Everything in Booth Capture, by topic
Lead capture →
Every way to capture a person in the seconds you have at a booth, all from one Capture button.
Built for the show floor →
Bad Wi-Fi, a dead badge printer, a queue at the booth: capture keeps working anyway.

When you have the attendee list, Booth Capture fills details from it and shows who you have not met yet.

Say what you learned out loud, and it becomes a qualified, rated lead with a deadline.
Follow-up →
A personal follow-up written from the conversation itself, from your own mailbox, the same day.
Events and team →
Every event, every rep and every lead, with a wrap-up that tells you what is still owed.

Built for the thirty seconds you actually have
Quick Capture
The badge reads itself while you talk
Tap Capture, photograph the badge and start talking. AI reads the name, company, title, email and phone in the background and only fills the fields you left empty.
- One button, one hand
- No organizer device or provider integration
- Save even if the read fails; it is retried
Spoken qualification
Qualify by talking, not by tapping through a survey
Say what they need, who decides, when, and what you promised. AI turns it into four conversation fields and a Hot, Warm or Cold rating, and you can change any of it.
- Need, their say, timeline, what was agreed
- Rated by AI or by you
- The follow-up is written from it
WHAT YOU SAID
“She runs ops at Keystone, the CFO signs off. They need to get rid of paper work orders across 40 sites, want it live before Q2. I promised a demo next Tuesday.”

Deadlines
Hot leads are due in 24 hours, and everyone can see it
The rating sets a follow-up deadline: 24 hours for Hot, 48 for Warm, 7 days for Cold. Every lead shows when it is due or overdue, and the wrap-up counts what is past deadline.

A real follow-up, from your own mailbox, the same day
Draft a follow-up and AI writes it from the conversation you had. Edit it, save it as a draft in your own Gmail or open it in any mail app. A shared ledger stops a second rep from writing again.
- Written from notes and qualification
- Never sent without you
- “They replied — worth reading it before writing again.”
Offline
Convention Wi-Fi can fail. Your leads will not.
Every capture is saved on the phone first and sent when you are back online. Keep capturing even when you are signed out; a half-finished voice note is picked up again after the phone sleeps.
Quick Capture
One Capture button: photograph the badge, say a sentence about what they wanted, and save. The name and company are read for you while you talk.

FAQ
Questions event teams ask
What is Autessa Booth Capture?
Autessa Booth Capture is an event lead capture app for trade show and conference booth teams. A rep photographs a badge, says a sentence about the conversation and saves; AI reads the badge, extracts the qualification, rates the lead and drafts a same-day follow-up, and the lead flows into Autessa CRM.
Does it work out of the box?
Yes. Create an event, share it with your booth team and start capturing; badge reading, qualification, ratings and follow-up drafts work from the first lead. Then shape it to how your team sells inside Autessa: event details and goals, roles, the registration list, and how leads flow into your CRM.
Do I need the organizer’s lead retrieval device or badge provider?
No. Booth Capture reads badges from a photo with AI and reads QR codes with the phone’s camera, so it works at any event without a badge provider integration. When you have the registration list, it can also match captures to it.
How does it scan a badge?
Two ways. Capture opens the phone camera, and AI reads the photo into name, company, job title, email and phone while you keep talking. Scan QR codes reads vCard, MECARD, LinkedIn and badge ID codes live and captures on its own.
Can I qualify a lead by voice?
Yes. Record a voice note of up to three minutes and AI pulls out what they need, their say in the decision, their timeline and what you agreed, and rates the lead Hot, Warm or Cold. You can change any of it afterward.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Every capture is saved on the phone first and sent when the connection returns, and you can keep capturing even if you are signed out. The app has to be opened online once, and AI reading happens after the capture is sent.
How do follow-ups work?
Tap Draft a follow-up and AI writes a subject and message from the booth conversation. Edit it, then save it as a draft in your own connected Gmail or hand it to any mail app. A shared ledger stops two reps from writing to the same person. You can also ask an Autessa agent to call or email a lead who has not replied.
How do leads get into the CRM?
Booth Capture is part of Autessa CRM. Leads arrive in the CRM’s Event Leads screen to accept as contacts, the event is the same record as the CRM campaign, and booth notes, ratings and follow-ups are carried onto the contact.
Can several reps work the same booth?
Yes. Everyone captures into the same event, each lead shows who captured it, colleagues’ captures appear on their own, and the wrap-up shows how many leads each rep captured and followed up.
Can I export leads?
Yes. Managers can export an event’s leads to CSV with contact details, how you met, notes, who captured each lead and its follow-up state.
Is it a native app?
Booth Capture is a phone-first web app that runs inside Autessa, so there is nothing to install from an app store. It is laid out for one-handed use on a phone and also works on a laptop at the booth.
