One product, two sides

A recorder for your team, a share page for your audience

Video Creator is two apps that work as one. Your team records, edits and shares in Video Creator. Your audience watches on the Video Viewer, a separate public page that only ever plays videos you have published.

FOR YOUR TEAM

Video Creator

  • Record screen + camera bubble
  • Trim and crop, audio intact
  • Private drafts, then Publish
  • Share by email or by link
  • My Videos and Shared with me
  • Setup and playback keys

FOR YOUR AUDIENCE

Video Viewer

  • A clean public watch page
  • No account, no login
  • Paste a link or an id to watch
  • Your trim and crop, applied
  • Plays published videos only
  • Friendly page for dead links

How is it different from Autessa Video Studio? Video Creator records you: your screen, your camera and your voice, trimmed and shared through the public viewer. Autessa Video Studio generates a video for you: it turns a script into a vertical short with AI images, an AI voice, music and captions. The full comparison is further down this page.

Non-destructive editing

Trim and crop that can never lose your audio

Video Creator uploads your recording exactly as captured and keeps trim and crop as instructions. Both players apply them on every play, so saving and publishing are instant and the original is always safe.
  • No re-encode, no export wait
  • Audio stays in sync, always
  • The same cut in the app and the public viewer

Private drafts

Recording and sending are two different decisions

Every recording saves as a private draft. Watch it back, share it with a reviewer by email, and only press Publish when it is ready. The public viewer treats drafts as if they do not exist.
  • Draft and Published badges everywhere
  • Publish copies the link for you
  • Warns before you share a link that will not play

FAQ

Questions about Autessa Video Creator

What is Autessa Video Creator?

Autessa Video Creator is a screen recorder with a camera bubble and a built-in public video viewer. You record your screen and face in the browser, trim and crop, save a private draft, then publish to get a link anyone can watch on a clean share page.

Does it work out of the box?

Yes. Open Video Creator, pick your screen and camera, and record. Your public Video Viewer and its playback key are set up for you, so your first share link works the same day. From there you shape it in Autessa: your viewer, who videos are shared with, and the apps and workflows around your video library.

Can I record my screen and webcam at the same time?

Yes. Video Creator asks for screen, camera and microphone access, shows a live preview with your face in a round bubble in the bottom-left corner, and records the screen, the bubble and your audio together into one video.

Do people need an Autessa account to watch my video?

No. Once you publish a video, its share link opens on your public Video Viewer, and anyone with the link can watch without signing in. To share privately instead, add teammates by email and they will see it under Shared with me inside Autessa.

Is there anything to download or install?

No. Video Creator runs in a modern desktop browser that supports screen sharing. There is no desktop app or browser extension; you grant screen, camera and microphone access when you set up your sources.

Can I trim and crop without losing the audio?

Yes. Trim and crop are saved as instructions next to the original recording and applied every time the video plays, in the app and in the public viewer. The file is never re-encoded, so its audio always stays intact.

How long can a recording be?

Each recording can run up to 5 minutes. A timer shows elapsed time against the limit, and recording stops on its own at 5 minutes or when you stop sharing your screen. That keeps every video a quick, watchable message.

Are my recordings private until I publish them?

Yes. Every recording saves as a draft that only you, and anyone you share it with by email, can see. The public viewer will only ever play videos you have published; a draft link shows "This video doesn’t exist".

Can I record system audio?

Yes, when your browser offers it. In the share picker, turn on Share audio and Video Creator mixes that sound with your microphone into one track. Your microphone is always recorded.

How do I set up the public Video Viewer?

Usually you do not have to. Video Creator looks for your Video Viewer and links it on its own, and creates the private playback key the viewer needs in the background. If anything still needs your action, a guided setup wizard walks you through it.

How is Video Creator different from Autessa Video Studio?

Video Creator records you: your screen and your camera, trimmed and shared through a public viewer. Autessa Video Studio generates a video for you: it turns a script into a vertical short with AI images, an AI voiceover, music and captions. Use Creator for walkthroughs and messages, Studio for produced shorts.

Who can edit or delete a video?

Only its owner, the person who recorded it. The owner can edit the title and description, publish, share by email and delete. People it is shared with can watch it, and anyone with the public link can watch it once it is published.
