Autessa Visibility · AI search visibility software

Know what AI says about your brand.

Autessa Visibility tracks how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, Claude and Gemini mention, rank, cite and describe your brand against your competitors, then tells you what to fix. It is generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) tracking, brand monitoring in AI answers, and no-code browser automation in one app. It works out of the box, and you shape the prompts, competitors, alerts and workflows to how your team works.

In one paragraph

What is Autessa Visibility?

Autessa Visibility is AI search visibility software for marketing, brand and growth teams. You add your brand, its aliases and competitors, then track the unbranded questions buyers ask AI assistants and the keywords they search. Every answer is scored in the app for mentions, position, share of voice and citations, sentiment is scored by AI, and the results roll up into dashboards, alerts, progress reports and an Advisor that recommends what to publish and where to get cited. Browser workflows automate the rest of your competitive monitoring.

Every major engine

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, Claude and Gemini, each with live web search.

Honest scores

Computed from the answer text, never by an AI, with branded prompts left out.

Real change only

Progress tested at 95% confidence, so noise is never reported as a win.

Start with no keys

ChatGPT and Google work out of the box; bring your own keys later.

What makes it different

Built to tell you the truth about your AI visibility

AI answers vary from run to run, and most trackers report that noise as progress. Visibility is built around honest measurement, then goes further: it explains why you lost an answer, catches narrative shifts early and automates the web checks around it.

Honest measurement

Scores the app computes, not an AI’s opinion

Mentions are found as whole words, position is counted against the brands named before you, and citations are matched to your domain. Prompts that name you, and head-to-head prompts, are flagged and left out, so your visibility can’t be inflated.
  • Whole-word, case-aware matching for every alias
  • Branded and “A vs B” prompts never counted
  • Changes tested at 95% confidence on Progress

How it works

From your website to your first answers in a minute

  1. 1

    Add your brand

Enter your website and AI drafts your name, aliases, competitors and topics, or add it by hand. Mentions are matched as whole words.

  2. 2

    Track prompts and keywords

AEO prompts are the questions buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Gemini. SEO keywords are checked on Google for rank.

  3. 3

    Each engine answers

With live web search. ChatGPT works with no setup; add your own keys for the rest. Scoring is computed in the app, never by the AI.

  4. 4

    Act and automate

Alerts, the Advisor and the briefing say what to do next; browser workflows watch pricing pages, reviews and listings for you.

What the numbers mean

How is AI visibility measured?

Every metric in Autessa Visibility has one plain definition. Sentiment is the only one scored by AI; the rest are computed in the app from the answer text.

Visibility
Share of answers that mention your brand or an alias. Branded and head-to-head prompts are excluded so it can’t be inflated.
Share of voice
Your mentions ÷ all mentions of tracked brands (you plus competitors) in the same answers.
Avg. position
When mentioned, your order among the tracked brands named in the answer (1 = named first). Lower is better.
Sentiment
0 to 100 score of how answers portray you (about 55 is a neutral listing, 61+ is positive), averaged over answers that mention you.
Citation coverage
Share of answers whose cited sources include your domain.
Citation share
Your domain’s citations ÷ all citations across answers.
Gap sources
Sites cited in answers that name a competitor but not you: the first places to get listed, reviewed or quoted.
Avg. Google rank
Average organic position of your domain where it appears in Google’s top 10.

FAQ

Questions about AI search visibility and Autessa Visibility

What is Autessa Visibility?

Autessa Visibility is AI search visibility software. It asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini the questions your buyers ask, checks Google for your keywords, and measures how often each engine mentions, ranks, cites and praises your brand against your competitors. It also runs plain-English browser workflows, like competitor pricing checks, on a schedule.

Does it work out of the box?

Yes. Enter your website and Autessa drafts your brand profile, competitors, topics and buyer questions, then starts your first checks, with ChatGPT and Google working before you add a single key. From there you shape it to how your team works in Autessa: your own prompts and topics, competitors, alerts, briefings and browser workflows.

What is generative engine optimization (GEO)?

Generative engine optimization (GEO), also called answer engine optimization (AEO), is the work of getting your brand mentioned and cited in AI-generated answers. You cannot improve what you cannot measure, so GEO starts with tracking: which prompts mention you, which competitors win instead, and which sources the engines cite. That is what Autessa Visibility measures.

Which AI engines does Autessa Visibility track?

It tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, Claude and Gemini. ChatGPT works with no setup through Autessa’s GPT model with live web search, or through your own OpenAI key; Perplexity (Sonar), Claude (with web search) and Gemini (with Google Search grounding) run on your own keys; Google keywords are checked with a live web search for the top 10 organic results.

How is AI share of voice calculated?

Share of voice is your mentions divided by all mentions of tracked brands (you plus your competitors) in the same answers. Visibility is the share of answers that mention you or an alias, and average position is your order among the tracked brands named in an answer, where 1 means named first.

Does an AI decide whether my brand was mentioned?

No. Mentions, position, citations and Google rank are computed in the app with whole-word matching on the answer text, never by an AI. AI is used only for things that need judgment, such as the 0 to 100 sentiment score, themes, briefings and recommendations, and it always works from numbers the app computed first.

Why are some of my prompts “not counted”?

Prompts that name your brand, and head-to-head “A vs B” prompts that name a tracked brand, are left out of every score. A question that names you always gets an answer about you, so counting it would inflate your visibility. Open questions like “best tools for …” measure whether engines recommend you on their own.

How do I know whether a visibility change is real?

Autessa Visibility tests it. AI answers vary between identical runs, so the Progress page uses a two-proportion test at 95% confidence and marks a change as real only when it is bigger than normal variation, and as “too few checks to tell” when there is not enough data.

Do I need API keys to start?

No. With no setup, ChatGPT is estimated by Autessa’s GPT model with live web search and Google is checked with a free live search. Add your own OpenAI, Perplexity, Anthropic or Google AI Studio key when you want every engine on its official API, billed by your provider.

Are my API keys safe?

Yes. Keys are checked with the provider and then stored as sealed Autessa Secrets: nobody can read them back, the AI never sees them, and they are only ever sent to the provider they belong to.

What are browser workflows?

Browser workflows are web tasks you describe in plain English, such as “capture every plan and price on this pricing page.” A browser agent runs them in a real server-side browser on demand, daily or weekly and returns structured data. It never enters passwords, pays or posts for you, and it reports sites that block automated browsers instead of trying to get around them.

How often are checks run?

As often as you choose per prompt: manually, daily or weekly. Scheduled runs start each morning, most checks finish in under a minute, and browser workflows in a few minutes.
