Brand monitoring in AI answers · Autessa Visibility
Early awareness alerts
Autessa Visibility includes early awareness alerts for brand monitoring in AI answers. It compares the last 7 days with the 28 days before and raises alerts, by severity, for negative mentions, sentiment and visibility shifts, engine drops, competitor surges, answers you dropped out of or entered, and new sources that start shaping answers.
The problem
Monthly reports arrive after the story has spread
If an engine starts describing you as expensive or slow to support, you want to know this week, not in next month’s deck. Early awareness watches every new check against what normal looked like and tells you what moved, so you catch narrative shifts and competitor moves before they show up in the monthly numbers.
What you get
- Alert kinds: negative mention, sentiment drop or gain, visibility drop or gain, engine drop, competitor surge, dropped out, entered, and new source.
- Four severities: Critical, Warning, Info and Opportunity.
- Visibility and sentiment shifts are significance-tested, so normal variation does not raise alarms.
- Mild negative mentions are grouped into one weekly alert, so a single lukewarm answer does not page anyone.
- An Autessa agent can call or email the teammate you name about a Critical alert.
- Time windows: last 48 hours, 7 days or 14 days; filter by severity.
- An unread badge on the sidebar and “New alert” notices as checks land.
- Click an alert for the answer or the page behind it.
How it works
How does early awareness alerts work?
Define normal
The 28 days before the watched window become the baseline.
Watch the window
The last 7 days (or 48 hours, or 14 days) are compared with it.
Raise alerts
Each kind of move that beats normal variation becomes an alert with a severity, a title like “Corvid is surging: 18% → 33% of answers” and a detail line.
Investigate
Open the answer or source behind it, or scan for narrative shifts and write a briefing.
Every option
Alert kinds and severities
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Negative mention | An engine described you very negatively (critical), or several mild negatives in the window (grouped). |
| Sentiment drop / gain | Average sentiment fell or rose by a meaningful number of points. |
| Visibility drop / gain | Visibility moved from one percentage to another, beyond normal variation. |
| Engine drop | One engine mentions you less, for example “Claude mentions you less: 41% → 22%”. |
| Competitor surge | A tracked competitor appears in a much larger share of answers. |
| Dropped out / Entered | You left or joined a number of answers. |
| New source | A new site started being cited in your answers. |
| Windows | Last 48h, Last 7 days, Last 14 days. |
| Severity | Critical, Warning, Info, Opportunity. |

FAQ
Questions about early awareness alerts
Can I get alerted when AI says something negative about my brand?
Yes. Early awareness raises a critical alert when an engine describes you very negatively and groups milder negatives into one alert for the window.
How does it avoid false alarms?
Visibility and sentiment shifts are tested against the 28-day baseline, and mild negatives are grouped, so ordinary run-to-run variation does not trigger alerts.
Where do alerts show up?
Right in the app, with an unread badge on the sidebar and a notice the moment a new alert lands.
