Autessa Support Desk · Help desk software
The help desk with a customer portal built in
Autessa Support Desk is help desk ticketing software for your support team and a branded Help Center for your customers. Emails become tickets, AI triage routes them, SLAs keep time, AI drafts the reply and a person sends it. Customers search answers, ask an AI assistant, follow their requests and help each other. It works out of the box, and you shape it to how your team supports customers inside Autessa.

One product, two sides
For your team, and for your customers
Most help desks bolt a portal onto a ticketing tool. Support Desk was built as one conversation seen from both ends, so what your team does and what your customer sees always match.

- Close, reopen and share requests with colleagues
- A community forum to ask and answer

What makes it different
Where it goes beyond a typical help desk
AI drafts the reply. A person sends it.
When a customer writes in, a cited draft is waiting, grounded in your articles, documents and past tickets, with a confidence score. Your agent reviews, edits and presses Send.
Learn more →Triage that reads like a teammate
An AI triage agent matches each ticket to your groups’ own descriptions, sets group, subcategory, priority and category, suggests an owner and tags the recurring issue.
Learn more →Every AI answer gets checked
Your Help Center assistant answers customers, and every conversation is graded for task completion, grounding and whether anyone was misled.
Learn more →Support that tells product what to build
A Weekly Insights digest turns tickets into rising issues, product friction and what to build next, ready to copy as Markdown.
Learn more →Reach out before they ask
Tell affected customers about an issue: each person gets their own email and their own ticket, and replies thread straight back.
Learn more →A community inside your Help Center
Customers answer each other by topic, staff replies carry a badge, and solved questions show up in search.

Answering customers on day one
A guided setup turns on the background work (email to tickets, sending replies, checking response times, weekly insights) with a key that can only touch your support data, and creates a General Support group so every ticket has an owner.

FAQ
Questions about Autessa Support Desk
Straight answers. If something is not covered here, book a demo and ask us directly.
Does Autessa have a help desk?
Yes. Autessa Support Desk is a full help desk for customer support: email-to-ticket, a shared ticket queue, AI triage and routing, SLAs, reply templates, AI-drafted replies, a knowledge base and reports. It comes with a branded customer portal (the Help Center) for your customers.
Does Autessa Support Desk include a customer portal?
Yes. Your customers get a branded Help Center where they sign in with their email, search articles and guides, ask an AI help assistant, submit requests with files, follow every reply, close or reopen requests, share them with colleagues and ask the community.
Can Autessa turn support emails into tickets?
Yes. Connect a Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com inbox and new emails become tickets, usually within five minutes. Replies go out from that inbox in the customer’s original thread, with your logo, color and each rep’s signature.
Does Autessa Support Desk have SLAs?
Yes. Each priority has a first-response SLA and a resolution goal. The resolution clock pauses while a ticket waits on the customer, and every ticket shows on track, at risk, breached or met. Customer plans and per-customer overrides can set faster targets. If a customer goes quiet on a pending ticket, you can ask an Autessa agent to call or email them.
Does the AI send replies to customers on its own?
No. The AI drafts a reply with a confidence score and the sources it used, and it waits in the AI Drafts queue or on the ticket. A person reviews it, edits it if needed, and presses Send.
How does Autessa Support Desk route tickets?
An AI triage agent reads each new ticket and picks the assignment group and subcategory, sets the priority and category, and suggests an owner. Groups can auto-assign, and automation rules can assign, retag or escalate on create, update or SLA breach.
Does Autessa Support Desk have a knowledge base?
Yes. Articles can be public (in your Help Center), internal (for your team and its AI tools) or private (only you). You can also upload PDFs, Word and PowerPoint files that the AI reads and answers from, and search everything by meaning.
Does it include a customer community forum?
Yes. Turn on the Community and signed-in customers can ask and answer each other in your Help Center by topic. Your team replies with a Staff badge, marks accepted answers, pins, closes or hides threads and handles reports from the support desk.
What reports does Autessa Support Desk include?
A dashboard and reports cover ticket volume, first-response SLA met, resolution goal met, average reply and resolution time, CSAT and assistant resolution, per agent too. A Weekly Insights digest adds rising issues, product friction and what to build next.
Does it work out of the box?
Yes. Connect your support inbox and turn on the Help Center, and your team is working tickets the same day with triage, SLAs, AI drafts and a knowledge base already in place. Then make it yours inside Autessa: your statuses, priorities and categories, assignment groups, customer plans, automation rules, reply templates, assistant instructions and your brand.
Is Autessa Support Desk a Zendesk or Freshdesk alternative?
It is a help desk that covers the same core jobs (ticketing, customer portal, knowledge base, SLAs, AI) and runs inside Autessa next to your CRM, phone receptionist and other apps. See the comparison pages for how each job is handled.
Can I try it with sample data?
Yes. A short guided setup gets you running, and you can install demo tickets, customers, articles, AI drafts, assistant conversations and a weekly digest to explore every page, then remove them in one click. No emails are sent.
