What is Autessa Vision?
Autessa Vision is task and project management software for teams, ready to use out of the box inside Autessa. Each team gets a kanban board and list view, sprint planning, a triage queue, projects, a due-date calendar and a people directory, with Vision AI built in to turn notes into tasks, plan a sprint to capacity and write project updates.
Is Autessa Vision a kanban tool or a sprint planning tool?
Both. Every board is a kanban board with custom columns, and the same tasks drive the Sprints page, where you plan future sprints, run one active sprint and review it at the end. Teams that do not run sprints can work purely from the board, the list and projects.
Can AI plan our sprint?
Yes. On the Triage page, Auto-triage proposes a sprint, owner, priority, project, points and labels for each task in the queue, keeps the sprint within the capacity you set, and flags likely duplicates. You review every row, change anything, and nothing is saved until you press Apply.
How do I turn meeting notes into tasks?
Paste them into New with AI (⌘J) and choose the notes option. Vision AI extracts up to 20 actionable tasks, merges duplicates, resolves dates like “Friday” and suggests owners from the team. You tick the ones to keep, edit any field, and create them on any board you belong to.
Does Autessa Vision support subtasks and dependencies?
Yes. Subtasks are full tasks with their own status, assignee and page, and the parent card shows progress. Task relations cover blocks, blocked by, duplicate of, duplicates and related, and a card shows a Blocked badge while any blocker is unfinished.
Who can change what in Autessa Vision?
Access follows team roles. Owners and admins manage the team, the board’s columns and title, and can edit any project. Members create and edit tasks and comment. People who are not on a team can view it but not change it. A project can only be edited by its person of contact or a team owner or admin.
Does Autessa Vision have keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. ⌘K opens a command bar for search, navigation and AI actions, ⌘J opens New with AI, C creates a task, J and K move through tasks, P, A and S set priority, assignee and status, V switches board and list, and G followed by a letter jumps between pages. Press ? to see them all.
Does Vision AI change my tasks without asking?
No. Every Vision AI feature shows you a preview first: the triage plan, the task list from your notes, the before and after for plain-language edits, and each suggestion on a task. You apply what you want. The agents are instructed to confirm before they add, change or delete anything.
Can several teams use Autessa Vision?
Yes. Create as many teams as you need; each team is its own board with its own columns, sprints and members. Projects, your profile and the people directory work across every board you belong to, and you can star the board you want to open on launch.
