Projects dashboard
Autessa Vision includes project management with a projects dashboard: every project you can access across your boards, grouped by whether work has started, with roll-ups for points committed, tasks complete, unassigned tasks and overdue tasks. Each project’s status is derived from its own tasks, so it never goes stale.
The problem
Project status fields are always out of date
When someone has to remember to change a project from “In progress” to “Done”, the dashboard lies. Vision computes project status from the tasks: if every task is done, the project is done; if any work has started, it is in progress; otherwise it has not started.
What you get
- Project status is derived: Not started (no tasks or all to do), In progress (some work started) or Done (all tasks done).
- Progress counts how far each task has moved through the board’s columns, so the last column is 100%.
- Dashboard roll-ups across active projects: points committed, tasks complete, unassigned and overdue.
- Cards show To Do, In Progress and Done counts, the person of contact, and overdue, unassigned or On track flags.
- Projects group into In Progress and Backlog, with finished projects in a collapsible Done section.
- The dashboard spans every team you belong to, and opening a project never switches your current board.
- Create, rename and delete projects from the card menu (or right-click, New project).
How it works
How does projects dashboard work in Autessa Vision?
Create a project
Give it a name, description, team, person of contact, points and files.
Add work
Put tasks in it from the task page, the triage bulk bar, AI suggestions, or /page in the project notes.
Watch the roll-ups
Status, progress and flags update as the tasks move.
Finish
When every task is done, the project moves to the Done section on its own.

AI assist
How Vision AI helps
The Projects agent gives an overview of a project, explains what is blocking it, and turns the project discussion into tasks. Each project can also get an AI status update.
Vision AI always shows a preview or asks first. You decide what is applied.

Questions about projects dashboard
Does Vision have project management?
Yes. Projects group long-lived work across sprints, with a dashboard, derived status, a workspace for notes, files and discussion, and AI status updates.
How is a project’s status set?
Vision derives it from the project’s tasks: Done when all are done, In progress when any work has started, otherwise Not started.
Are projects tied to sprints?
No. A project is a long-lived grouping of tasks; its tasks can be in any sprint or in the backlog.
