Autessa Autobots · AI assistant for work

Hand it the work. It gets it done.

Autessa Autobots are AI assistants for work that do the task instead of describing it. Each one calls people on your phone numbers, sends email from your Gmail, uses your connected apps, files and data, browses in a browser of its own that you can watch and take over, builds charts and dashboards beside its reply, runs on a schedule while you are away, and asks before it sends, buys or deletes anything. It is free with every Autessa account, for unlimited users; you pay only for AI tasks. Use it out of the box, and shape each one to how your company works in Autessa.

What makes it different

Most AI tools stop at an answer. Autobots finish the job.

An AI chatbot tells you how. An Autessa Autobot is an AI agent for everyday work: it has the apps, the data, a browser and the judgment to stop and ask. These are the things it does that a chat window can’t.

How it works

From hello to handed off, in about a minute.

  1. 1

    Meet your Autobot

A friendly robot asks what you want to hand off and sets up an Autobot for that job in a short chat.

  2. 2

    Give it the right apps

Only the connected apps and MCP servers the job needs. It always has its own browser, your files and web search.

  3. 3

Ask for something you’d normally do

In plain words. It works step by step, and you can watch its browser in the side panel.

  4. 4

It asks, does, and reports back

Approvals before anything irreversible, a short note on what it did, and scheduled runs that reply while you are away.

A tour of every screen

Everything an Autobot can do, screen by screen.

The Autobots page puts your Autobots and their chats on the left, the conversation in the middle, and what it is doing on the right: its browser, its workflows and what it built for you.

Setup

A guided setup, not a blank form

A friendly robot asks what you want to hand off, then sets up an Autobot for it: its job, the apps and MCP servers it may use, and its name. Nothing is created until you press Start.
  • Ready-made specialties or your own words
  • Apps pre-picked for the job

FAQ

Questions about Autessa Autobots

What are Autessa Autobots?

Autessa Autobots are AI assistants for work that do the task instead of describing how to do it. Each one chats with you, uses your connected apps, MCP servers, Drive files and tables, browses in its own browser, builds charts and dashboards, runs on a schedule, and asks before it sends, buys, deletes or posts anything.

Is Autessa Autobots free?

Yes. Autessa Autobots are free with every Autessa account, for unlimited users, with no per-seat fees. You pay only for AI tasks.

Does it work out of the box?

Yes. Pick a ready-made specialty and your first Autobot is working in a minute. From there you shape it to how your company works in Autessa: give it a job in your own words, choose the apps and MCP servers it may use, teach it what to remember and decide what it may do without asking.

How is an Autobot different from a chatbot?

A chatbot answers; an Autobot acts. Ask an Autobot to put last week’s sign-ups in a table and email you a chart every Monday, and it creates the table, builds the chart and schedules the email, then tells you briefly what it did.

Can an Autobot make phone calls and send email?

Yes. An Autobot can call people on your Autessa phone numbers and send email from your Gmail, so it can chase a late invoice, confirm a meeting or follow up with a customer for you. Tell it what you need, or put it on a schedule.

Can an Autobot use my Gmail, Slack and calendar?

Yes. Autobots use the services your workspace has connected, including Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Slack, Notion, Box, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Google Analytics and social accounts, plus your company’s MCP servers. You choose which apps each Autobot may use.

What does it mean that an Autobot has its own browser?

Every Autobot has a real browser of its own that you can watch live in the side panel. It uses it for sites Autessa has no connection to. You can take it over for a sign-in or a captcha, hand it back, and record what happens as a workflow to run again.

Will an Autobot send or delete something without asking?

No. Before it sends, buys, deletes or posts anything for you, an Autobot shows an approval with Allow once, Always allow and Deny. Typing a message instead counts as not approving, and every Always allow can be removed in the Autobot’s settings.

Can Autobots work while I am away?

Yes. Tell an Autobot “every Monday morning, email me a summary of new rows in this table” and it schedules the job in your time zone. Each run replies in the chat, collects in Updates, and can also reach you by email or a Slack direct message. A scheduled run can also list unpaid invoices, and once you approve, an Autessa agent can call or email those customers.

Why have several Autobots instead of one?

Each Autobot works best with one job and only the apps that job needs. Autobots know about each other and hand off what they cannot do, so your Meetings Bot can ask your Data Bot to put action items in a table.

Does an Autobot remember things about me?

Yes, when you ask it to or when it learns something it will need again. Every memory is listed in the Autobot’s settings, where you can edit or delete it or add your own, and it reads them at the start of every chat.

Can an Autobot build things like dashboards and apps?

Yes. An Autobot builds live mockups, charts and small dashboards beside its reply, and you can save any of them as a dashboard app. For full apps, tables, agents and tools, the Autobot build chat plans first and shows the app running as it is written.

Is my password ever typed into the chat?

No. When a site needs a password or a code, the Autobot shows a secure form, and the values go straight to its browser, never into the chat. Other private details can be sent privately, typed hidden and never shown back.

Can I use Autobots on my phone?

Yes. The Autessa mobile app has your chats, a voice mode to talk with an Autobot, Siri’s “Ask” shortcut and a Share extension that sends something from another app into a chat.

Who in my company can use Autobots?

People whose role can use agents. Autobots work within each person’s own permissions and draw on your company’s AI credit allowances; admins see usage in Usage and limits.

What will you hand off first?

Start with a ready-made Autobot today, then shape its job, apps and rules to how your company works. Ask for something you’d normally do yourself.
