Autessa Vision features
Boards and tasks
Autessa Vision’s task management starts with a kanban board for every team, then adds a dense list view, a full page for every task, subtasks, task dependencies and saved views, all reading the same tasks.
Why it matters
Autessa Vision gives every team a kanban board and list view with custom columns, full task pages, subtasks, dependencies and saved views.
Most teams need one place where every piece of work has an owner, a status and a home. Vision makes that the board, and makes it fast to scan, filter and change.
At a glance
- Custom columns with a done state

What each part of boards and tasks does
Kanban board →
Autessa Vision includes a kanban board for every team. Tasks sit in columns you define, move by drag and drop, keep the order you give them, and land in a done column that marks them complete. Backlog and Triaged tabs split work that is not yet planned from work committed to the selected sprint.
- Every team is a board: the team name is the board title, and renaming one renames the other.
- Columns start as To Do, In Progress, In Review and Done, and owners and admins can add, rename, recolor, reorder and delete them.
- Any column can be set as the done state; tasks there count as complete everywhere in Vision, and moving a task into it sets off a small celebration.
List view →
Autessa Vision includes a list view: press V on any board to see its tasks as one dense row each, grouped by status, assignee, priority, project or nothing, and ordered by manual order, priority, due date, last updated, created or title. Priority, status and assignee are editable right in the row.
- Switch between board and list with V or the layout toggle; the filters stay the same.
- Group by status, assignee, priority or project, or turn grouping off.
- Order by manual, priority, due date, last updated, created or title.
Task details →
Every task in Autessa Vision has a full page with everything about it: status, priority, assignee, sprint, project, due date, estimate in story points and labels, a rich description, subtasks, relations, attachments, a comment thread and a history of every change. It opens from any board, list, sprint, project, calendar or profile.
- Every task has a short key such as ENG-432, made from the board name and the task’s id, with a one-click copy.
- Fields: status, priority (low, medium, high), assignee from the team, sprint or backlog, project, due date with an Overdue hint, estimate in points, and labels.
- The description uses the Notion-style notes editor; typing /page creates a linked subtask.
Subtasks →
Autessa Vision supports subtasks: a subtask is a full task with its own status, assignee, priority and page that sits under its parent. The parent card shows progress such as 2 of 3 done, and subtasks stay grouped with their parent instead of crowding the board.
- Add subtasks from the parent’s task page; each new subtask takes the parent’s sprint and project so it stays grouped.
- Tick a subtask’s checkbox to mark it done (it moves to the done column) or untick it to reopen.
- The parent shows a progress tick, such as 2 of 3, on its card, in sprint rows and on the task page.
Task dependencies and relations →
Autessa Vision tracks task dependencies with blocked by, blocks, duplicate of, duplicates and related. Any task with an unfinished blocker shows a red Blocked badge on its card, so the team sees what is waiting before anyone starts on it.
- Link tasks as Blocked by, Blocks, Duplicate of, Duplicates or Related from the task page.
- Find the other task by searching its title or key (for example ENG-432).
- Blockers that are not done yet are flagged on the task page.
Filters and saved views →
Autessa Vision lets you filter a board by assignee, priority, project and label, then save the layout, grouping, ordering and filters as a named view. A view is private to you unless you share it, and shared views appear for everyone on the board.
- Filter by assignee (or Unassigned), priority, project (or No project) and label, plus a text search.
- Active filters show as chips in the view bar; click × on a chip to remove it.
- Save the current layout, grouping, ordering and filters with a name, such as “My high priority”.
