Triage and intake

Autessa Vision includes a triage queue for every team: new work that is not in a sprint lands on the Triage page, where a lead can filter it, select many tasks at once and set status, sprint, project, assignee, priority, points, due date and labels in bulk, or run AI auto-triage on the whole queue.

• The default scope is Backlog (untriaged): open tasks with no sprint on this board.
• Switch the scope to any sprint, any project (or No project), all open tasks, or all tasks including done.
• Quick filters with counts: All, Unassigned, No project and No estimate.

Autessa Vision’s AI auto-triage plans your whole backlog in one pass. For every task in the queue it proposes a sprint (or keeps it in the backlog), an owner, a priority, a project, an estimate and labels, keeps the target sprint within the team’s capacity, balances work across people, and flags likely duplicates. You review every row, change anything, and nothing is saved until you press Apply.

• Choose the target sprint (the active one by default) and the capacity in points, which defaults to recent velocity.
• Add plain-language guidance, such as “bugs first, keep Sam light this sprint”.
• Auto-triage proposes sprint, owner, priority, project, points and labels for up to 60 queued tasks per run, each with a short reason.

Autessa Vision plans sprints to capacity. The Triage page shows the target sprint’s committed points against its capacity, which defaults to the team’s recent velocity, and a load bar for each person in points, before and after the proposed plan. The bar turns red when a plan would overfill the sprint.

• Capacity defaults to velocity: the average done points per completed sprint (with a floor of 5 and a default of 20 when there is no history).
• Change the capacity for this planning session at any time.
• The team capacity line shows committed points, then committed plus planned, out of capacity.
