Notes editor
Autessa Vision has a Notion-style notes editor for task descriptions and project notes. Type / for a block menu (text, three heading sizes, bulleted, numbered and to-do lists, quote, code, divider and page) or use Markdown shortcuts. Typing /page creates a linked task, a subtask from a task or a project task from project notes, and drops a link to it in place.
The problem
Plain text boxes make people write less
A description field that cannot hold a checklist or a heading pushes the real spec into a separate doc. A proper editor keeps the plan with the task, and /page lets the plan create the work.
What you get
- Slash menu: Text, Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, Bulleted list, Numbered list, To-do list, Quote, Code, Divider and Page.
- Markdown shortcuts: “# ”, “## ”, “- ”, “1. ”, “[] ”, “> ”, “```” and “---”.
- ⌘ or Ctrl+B and I for bold and italic; Tab and Shift+Tab to nest lists.
- Click a to-do’s checkbox to tick it.
- /page creates a linked task and inserts a chip you can click to open it; text already on the line becomes its title.
- Empty blocks show what they are, and a blank line hints “type / for commands”.
- Stored as Markdown.

Does Vision support rich text in task descriptions?
Yes. Descriptions and project notes use a Notion-style editor with headings, lists, to-dos, quotes, code and dividers.
What does /page do?
It creates a linked task and inserts a link to it: a subtask when you are in a task, or a new project task when you are in project notes.
Do Markdown shortcuts work?
Yes. # for headings, - for bullets, 1. for numbers, [] for to-dos, > for quotes, ``` for code and --- for a divider.
