Engines, keys and billing
Autessa Visibility starts with no setup and grows with your own keys. Without a key, ChatGPT is estimated by Autessa’s GPT model with live web search and Google is a free live search. Add an OpenAI, Perplexity, Anthropic or Google AI Studio key and that engine runs on the provider’s official API, billed by your provider, with the key stored as a sealed Secret.
The problem
Most AI visibility tools hide which model answered
Where an answer came from matters: an official API with web search, an estimate, or a scraped page. Visibility shows exactly how each engine is checked and who pays, and lets you move each engine onto your own account when you want.
What you get

Questions about engines, keys and billing
Do I need API keys to use Autessa Visibility?
No. ChatGPT works with no key through Autessa’s estimate and Google is free. Keys are only needed for Perplexity, Claude and Gemini, or to run ChatGPT on your own OpenAI account.
Who can see my API keys?
Nobody. Keys are stored as sealed Secrets that cannot be read back, the AI never sees them, and they are only sent to the provider they belong to.
How much will it cost?
The API keys page estimates your monthly cost from your schedules before you commit. Checks on your own keys are billed by your provider; Google checks are free.
