Questions about paste a link to watch
Can people search for videos on the viewer?
No. The bar opens one video by its link or id. There is no browse or search, so unpublished and unshared videos stay out of sight.
What if someone pastes only part of the link?
If the id is complete, it works. If the id was cut short, the viewer shows “This video doesn’t exist”.
Is the home page required?
Most viewers arrive by clicking a share link and go straight to the video. The bar is there for links that were copied by hand.
