Titles and descriptions

Every Autessa Video Creator recording has a title and an optional description. You set them in the Review step before saving, the owner can edit them later from the video page, and viewers see both on the public watch page.

The problem

“My recording (3)” helps nobody

Videos get shared, forwarded and searched for weeks after they are recorded. A clear title and a line of context make a video findable in the library and understandable to someone opening the link cold.

What you get

  • Each recording starts with the title “My recording”, ready to rename.
  • An optional description holds context, questions or next steps.
  • An empty title saves as “Untitled recording”, so nothing is ever blank.
  • Owners edit the title and description later with Edit, Save changes and Cancel.
  • Titles and descriptions are searchable in My Videos and shown on the public watch page.

How it works

How does titles and descriptions work in Autessa Video Creator?

  1. Step 1. Name it in Review

Type a title and, if you like, a description under the editor.

  2. Step 2. Save draft

The details save with the video.

  3. Step 3. Edit later

On the video page, the owner presses Edit, changes the text and presses Save changes.

FAQ

Questions about titles and descriptions

Can I change the title after I publish?

Yes. The owner can edit the title and description at any time, and the public watch page shows the new text.

Is the owner’s email shown publicly?

Yes. The public watch page shows who made the video, using the owner’s sign-in email, along with the date.

Do I have to write a description?

No. It is optional, and the watch page simply leaves it out when it is empty.
