Edit and delete
In Autessa Video Creator only a video’s owner can change it: edit the title and description, publish, share by email or delete. Everyone it is shared with can watch it. Deleting asks first and removes the video from your list right away.
The problem
Clear ownership prevents accidents
When anyone with access can edit or delete, videos disappear and links break. Video Creator makes the recorder the owner, and only the owner sees the buttons that change things.
What you get
- Owner-only buttons: Edit, Share, Publish and Delete.
- Edit opens inline fields with Save changes and Cancel.
- Delete asks “Delete … ? This cannot be undone.” before removing anything.
- Deleting from the library removes the card immediately and restores it if the delete fails.
- The video page shows the owner, the created date and how many people it is shared with.

How does edit and delete work in Autessa Video Creator?
Step 1. Open the video
From My Videos, click the card.
Step 2. Change it
Edit details, Publish, or Share with people.
Step 3. Delete if needed
Press the trash button and confirm.

What happens when I delete a video?
It is removed for good, so Video Creator always asks you to confirm first.
What happens to the share link after I delete?
It shows “This video doesn’t exist” on the public viewer.
