Crop
Autessa Video Creator crops a recording by dragging a rectangle over the frame. Turn on Crop, drag over the area you want to keep (one window, one panel, one chart) and everything else is hidden when the video plays. Clear crop or Reset takes you back.
The problem
You shared the whole screen, but it is about one panel
People share a whole display to be safe, then the viewer squints at a small window in a corner, or sees tabs and notifications that were never meant for them. A crop focuses the video on what matters without recording again.
What you get
- Press Crop and drag a rectangle over the frame; the rest is dimmed so you can see what will be kept.
- The kept area fills the player without stretching; a crop with a different shape is letterboxed.
- Tiny accidental selections are ignored, so a stray click never ruins a video.
- Clear crop removes just the crop; Reset removes the crop and the trim.
- Crops are saved as instructions, applied by the player, and never touch the file or the audio.

FAQ
Questions about crop
Does cropping lower the quality?
The cropped area is enlarged to fill the player, so a very small crop of a large screen can look softer. Keep the crop as large as the content allows.
Will the crop hide private things on my screen?
Viewers see only the cropped area in both players, but the original full-screen file is kept. For anything sensitive, close it before you record.
