Guided setup
Autessa Video Creator sets up its own public viewer. On first load it looks for your Video Viewer app and links it automatically. The guided setup wizard appears only when something still needs your action, such as publishing the viewer, making it public or granting it access, and walks you through it.
The problem
Two apps should not mean twice the setup
A recorder plus a public share page usually means copying addresses and keys between systems. Video Creator does the detection and linking itself, and only asks you for the decisions a person has to make.
What you get
- Automatic detection and linking on load: if your viewer is ready, nothing is shown at all.
- The playback key is created in the background the first time, without blocking anything.
- The wizard appears only when a viewer still needs publishing, making public or access, or when none is found.
- You can open the wizard any time from Settings with Run wizard.
- A manual viewer URL field is there if you would rather type the address.
How it works
How does guided setup work in Autessa Video Creator?
Step 1. Open Video Creator
It checks for a saved viewer address.
Step 2. Auto-link
If none is saved, it looks for your Video Viewer and links it when it is ready.
Step 3. Finish in the wizard
If the viewer still needs something, the wizard shows what and helps you do it.

Questions about guided setup
Do I have to run the wizard?
Usually not. If your Video Viewer is already published and ready, Video Creator links it on its own and the wizard never appears.
What does the wizard ask me to do?
Only what still needs a person: for example publishing the viewer, making it public or granting it access to published videos.
Can I re-run setup later?
Yes. Settings has a Run wizard button under Guided setup.
