Type it in is Autessa Booth Capture’s manual lead entry: for the visitor with no badge, or a contact you met in the hallway, type their name, company, job title, email, phone, how you met, a Hot, Warm or Cold rating, whether they need a follow-up, and notes.

Not everyone you meet is wearing a badge
Speakers, partners, people at the dinner and the colleague of the person you just scanned are all leads too. Manual entry is quick, checks the email and phone as you type, and lands in the same event, the same follow-up flow and the same CRM screen as every other capture.

How does type it in work in Booth Capture?

Under the Capture button on the phone, or in the header on a laptop.

Name is enough to save. Add whatever else you have.

Rate it
Pick Hot, Warm or Cold to set a follow-up deadline, and tick Needs follow-up.
- STEP 4
Save
It is checked for duplicates and saved to the event.

Questions about type it in
What is the minimum I need to type?
A full name. Everything else is optional.
How are typed leads rated?
A typed capture is saved straight away, and you choose Hot, Warm or Cold. Add a voice note any time and AI fills in the qualification for you.
Does it check email addresses?
Yes. Email and phone show a format warning before you save.
