Internal wiki · Autessa Community
Company and community wikis
Autessa Community includes an internal wiki: a company-wide knowledge base for policies, runbooks and onboarding, plus a separate wiki for every community. The wiki sits inside the same hub as the discussion, so an answer worked out in a thread can become a page the next person finds first.
The problem
Answers get worked out in threads and then lost
Most company knowledge is created in conversation and never written down, or written down in a separate tool nobody checks. Keeping the wiki next to the forum closes that loop: the question, the discussion and the settled page are one click apart.
What you get
- A company wiki at /wiki for everything company-wide.
- A wiki for every community, reached from the community page, for team-specific knowledge.
- Each wiki opens on a landing page with its page tree and the Recently updated pages.
- An empty wiki invites the first page: a policy, a runbook or an onboarding checklist.
- Search results label every page with the wiki it belongs to, such as Company wiki or Engineering.
- Every page keeps its full revision history, so people can edit freely.
- Pages can be locked against edits or archived when they go stale.
How it works
How does company and community wikis work in Autessa Community?
Pick the right wiki
Company-wide knowledge goes in the company wiki; team knowledge goes in that community’s wiki.
Write the page
New page asks for a title, an address and where it is filed, then a markdown body with preview and attachments.
Readers find it
Through the page tree, Recently updated, keyword search or the AI search assistant.
Keep it true
Anyone with edit access improves it, with a summary of what changed. Moderators lock pages that must not drift.

AI assist
Where AI helps
The AI search assistant searches the wiki first, because that is where settled answers live. Ask it a plain question and it leads with the wiki page that answers it, then the posts that discuss it.

FAQ
Questions about company and community wikis
Does Autessa Community have a wiki?
Yes. There is a company-wide wiki and a wiki for every community, with a page tree, markdown pages, attachments and full revision history.
What is the difference between the company wiki and a community wiki?
The company wiki holds company-wide knowledge such as policies and onboarding. A community wiki holds knowledge for one team or topic and is reached from that community.
Can anyone edit the wiki?
Members can create and edit pages that are not locked. Moderators lock the pages that should not change and can still edit them.
Is it a knowledge base?
Yes. The company wiki works as your internal knowledge base, and the AI search assistant searches it first.
