The problem

People skip writing things down when the tool fights them

Heavy page builders and formatting toolbars slow writers down. A focused markdown editor with a live preview makes it quick to turn a good answer into a page.

What you get

  • Title, then an address (the page’s URL slug) that you can adjust.
  • Filed under: choose the parent page so it lands in the right place in the tree.
  • Write in markdown, then Preview exactly what readers will see.
  • Attach PDFs, images, video and documents to the page.
  • Edits ask What changed, so the history explains itself; new pages take an optional summary.
  • Create a child page straight from its parent, already filed under it.
  • Locked pages tell you they are locked instead of letting you start an edit you cannot save.

How it works

How does wiki editor work in Autessa Community?

  1. Start a page

Choose New page in the tree, or add a page under the one you are reading.

  2. Name and file it

Give it a title such as How we handle refunds, check the address, and choose what it is filed under.

  3. Write and preview

Write in markdown, switch to Preview, attach any files.

  4. Save with a summary

Say what changed. The save becomes the next numbered revision.
