Community management
Autessa Community admins manage communities from one page: create new ones, set the defaults everyone joins, reorder them, archive the ones that have run their course and restore them later. Each community’s edit page also chooses its moderators and manages its own tags.
The problem
Community structure drifts without an owner
Teams form and dissolve; projects end. A simple page to add, order, retire and staff communities keeps the hub tidy as the company changes.
What you get
- Every community in the order members see them, with up and down controls.
- A switch per community: everyone joins this community.
- Archive and restore, with an Archived badge.
- New community form with name, address, description, color, icon and live preview; it goes to the end of the list.
- Moderators section: Make mod or Remove mod on anyone who has joined, or add a moderator from the directory.
- Community tags: add tags only this community uses; default tags are listed for context.

FAQ
Questions about community management
Can I set which communities new employees join?
Yes. Mark any community as default and everyone joins it on their first visit.
Can I change the order communities appear in?
Yes. Admins move communities up and down; members see that order.
Can a community be deleted?
Communities are archived rather than deleted, so their history stays readable, and they can be restored.
