Moderation desk

Autessa Community gives moderators one moderation desk: open reports with a filter for resolved and dismissed, recently removed posts and the full action log. Each report opens in its real context (the post, the comment within its thread, or the whole conversation for a message) so moderators act on what actually happened.

The problem

A reported line out of context is easy to misjudge

A sarcastic comment can look hostile on its own and fine in its thread. Reviewing in context, with the author’s record one click away, leads to fair, consistent decisions.

What you get

  • Reports list with Open, Resolved and Dismissed filters, each showing what was reported, the reason and when.
  • Report review shows the reported post, the comment in its thread, or the whole conversation, with attachments.
  • Act without leaving the page: remove or restore the post, comment or message with a reason; lock or unlock; pin or unpin.
  • Block the author from the report, with a reason.
  • Resolve or dismiss the report; resolved reports show who closed them and when, and actions still work afterwards.
  • Post review shows the post, its comments, its open reports and a link to the author in members.
  • Recently removed posts list for a second look.
