Sharing and access levels
Everything you build in Autessa starts private to you, and one Share dialog, the same on every resource, gives access to people, teams, company roles or everyone at your company, each at Viewer, Editor, Publisher or Admin. A person covered by several grants gets the highest level, and sharing never leaves your company.
The problem
What problem does it solve?
When every product has its own sharing rules, people over-share to make things work. One consistent model, with least privilege as the default, is what keeps access understandable.
How it works

Open Share
On any resource: apps, tables, tools, agents, scheduled jobs, webhook handlers, connectors, secrets, voice clones, e-signature items, QR codes, video projects, meeting bots and phone numbers.

Add who
Type a name, email, team or role, or pick Everyone at your company. Teams include people who join later.

Choose a level
Each grant has its own level. The dialog shows only the levels a resource has, with its own names.

Review and save
A summary lists every change before you click Share.

| Viewer (Read) | Open, view and use: run a tool or agent, read rows, launch an app. |
| Editor (Write) | Plus change it: edit a draft, write rows, edit an app’s files. |
| Publisher (Publish) | Plus publish and roll back versions. |
| Admin | Plus share it, change its structure and delete it. |
| General access | Restricted, or Everyone at your company at a level you choose. |
| Bulk sharing | Select items in any list and share together. It only adds or changes; it never removes anyone or makes anything private. |
Permissions
Who can do what?

| Owner | Always has full access, is listed first and cannot be removed. |
| Admins of the resource | Change who has access, never above their own level. |
| Only the owner | Remove another Admin or lower their level. |
| Anyone else | Leave a resource shared with them, keeping access they have through a team, role or the company. |

- Removing one grant never takes away access someone has through another.

Sharing and access levels: questions
Can I share something with people outside my company?
Not through the Share dialog. Sharing always stays inside your company. To let outside people use an app, choose its hosting mode.
What happens if someone has two grants?
They get the higher of the two. If a table is shared with everyone as Viewer and with Finance as Editor, Finance members can write.
Can someone give access above their own?
No. Nobody can give a level higher than their own, and changing access needs Admin.
