Status Admin and access · Autessa Status Page
Component management
Status Admin manages the components on your status page: add each part of your service, give it a one-line description, set its status and display order, hide it without deleting it, or remove it for good. A sortable table lists every component with its status, visibility, order and last change.
The problem it solves
Your status page should match how customers think about your product
Customers do not know your service names; they know "the app", "the API", "payments". The component list is the vocabulary of your status page, and it changes as your product does. It has to be easy to rename, reorder and retire parts without losing the record.
What you get
- A Components table sortable by Name, Status, On status page, Order and Last changed.
- New component: Name, Description, Status, Order and "Show on the status page".
- Sensible defaults: Operational, order 100, shown.
- Edit any component from its row.
- Hide instead of delete: the component leaves the public page but keeps its record.
- Remove component asks first, and explains that past incidents stop showing it.
- Changing the status records the time it changed.
How it works
How does component management work?

Add one

Order them
Lower numbers show first on the public page.
Retire carefully

FAQ
Questions about component management
How many components can a status page have?
As many as you need. Keep the list to the parts customers recognize so the page stays readable.
What happens to history when I remove a component?
Past incidents stop showing it. To keep the record, hide the component instead of removing it.
Can I reorder components?
Yes. Set each component's order number; the lowest shows first.
