What does the Mercury integration do?
- Accounts and card transactions synced every 15 minutes.
- Your approved category and note written back to Mercury on the next sync.
- Issue Mercury virtual credit and debit cards; change limits, freeze, unfreeze and cancel.
- Budget guardrails tighten or freeze a department’s Mercury cards.
- Pay bills by ACH, check or wire; the payment is approved in Mercury and posts when it syncs.
- New Mercury agent cards are found and flagged for setup.
- Production or Sandbox, so you can try it with Mercury’s test data.

How do banks without a connection work?
Upload the statement. Accounting recognizes the layout (or you map the columns once and it remembers), matches the file to its card or account by the last four digits, checks the arithmetic, skips anything already here, and codes the rows for review. Everything else, budgets, ledger, reconciliation and reports, works the same as with Mercury.
