Most onboarding fails in week one, not month three. We watched 40 new teams set up. The ones who stayed followed a checklist, not a guide. So we rebuilt it around three moments: [add stat] Read the full story on our blog →

The problem

Rich editors hide formatting that breaks when pasted into a social network, and nobody counts characters until the post is rejected.

Content editor in Autessa Content Studio

A plain text and markdown editor with live character counters for the body, title and each thread part, a structure template to start from, and Ctrl+S saving.

No. 01Step by step

How does it work, step by step?

  1. 1

    Start from the template

A new version opens with the channel’s structure template, so the shape of a good post is already there.

  2. 2

    Write what gets posted

The editor is plain text and markdown on purpose: what you type is exactly what gets posted, character for character.

  3. 3

    Watch the counters

Live counters for the body, the title and each thread part, measured against the channel’s limits.

  4. 4

    Save on purpose

Save with the button or Ctrl+S. Leaving with unsaved changes asks first, and every save keeps the previous text in history.

PART 162/280
We rebuilt onboarding from scratch. Three things surprised us.
PART 264/280
First: people do not read setup guides. They follow a checklist.
PART 354/280
Second: a day-three check-in beats any email sequence.
PART 438/280
Third: the guide is here, free: [link]

Content editor: questions

Straight answers about Autessa Content Studio.

Why is the editor plain text?

So what you type is exactly what is posted. Social networks do not accept rich formatting, and hidden formatting breaks posts when they are pasted.

Does it count characters?

Yes. It counts the body, the title and each thread part against the channel’s limits as you type.

Can I write threads?

Yes. On a channel in thread mode, separate parts with a line containing only ---, and each part gets its own counter.
