Companies and accounts

Companies in Autessa CRM are account records with territories, parent companies, departments to any depth, people, deals, contracts and payment milestones. A company’s owner, client status and partner status are always worked out from its people and contracts, never typed, so they can never be out of date.

The problem

Account fields that contradict the truth

In most CRMs someone types “Client” on an account and nobody unticks it when the contract ends. Autessa CRM treats the contact as the record: a company is a client while it has an active contract or a delivery deal, its owners are its people’s owners, and it is a partner when its people are.

What you get

  • Columns: company, website, industry, location, territory, people and deals, employees, revenue, LinkedIn, HQ, market, parent, GTM tier and rank, people owners, last contact, relationship and people’s tags.
  • Filters: territory (add one inline), relationship, partner or distributor type, parent, industry, state and city, people owner, tags.
  • Company drawer: partnership or distributor deal, client deals involved, deals, our business with them, details, tags, activity, departments, people, contracts and payment milestones.
  • Departments: add sub-units to any depth.
  • A company can be a client and a partner at once, through different departments.
  • Bulk: assign territory, assign people, enrich from Apollo, tag and untag people, remove.
  • New company checks for likely duplicates first.

FAQ

Questions about companies and accounts

Does Autessa CRM do account management?

Yes. Companies hold territories, parents, departments, people, deals, contracts and payment milestones in one record.

Why can’t I set a company to Client by hand?

Because it is worked out: a company is a client while it has an active contract or a deal in delivery, so the status is always correct.

Can a company have departments?

Yes, as sub-units to any depth.
