Prefill and the booked event

Autessa Meetings embeds accept prefilled names, emails and answers, a pinned light or dark theme and an accent color. Your page can also listen for a booked event that carries the link and time but never who booked.

The problem

Asking known visitors to type it all again

A signed-in customer should not retype their name and email. Prefill fills the form, and the booked event lets your page react, for example with a thank-you message, without receiving personal data.

What you get

  • data-name and data-email prefill the form.
  • data-answer-<id> prefills a question; each link’s Embed page lists its question ids.
  • data-theme="light" or "dark" and data-accent="#hex" match your site.
  • AutessaMeetings.on("booked", fn) receives slug, startUtc and endUtc.
  • The booked event never includes who booked, their email, answers or the reschedule link.
  • AutessaMeetings.close() and AutessaMeetings.scan() for single-page apps.
  • The same options work as address parameters for links and iframes.

Questions about prefill and the booked event

Can my site prefill the booking form?

Yes. Pass data-name, data-email and data-answer-<id>, or the matching address options. People can still change them.

Can my page know when someone booked?

Yes. AutessaMeetings.on("booked") gives the link and the start and end time in UTC.

Does the booked event include personal data?

No. It never includes the person’s name, email, answers or reschedule link.
