CLI and scripting
Every Autessa Payments task is available from the terminal as autessa payments <command> and from AutessaScript as autessa.payments.*: setup status, customers, invoices, templates, recurring invoices, plans, subscriptions, tax and branding. It uses the same account, permission and rules as the web app.
The problem it solves
Finance work should be scriptable
Batch-invoicing from a spreadsheet or pulling monthly tax totals shouldn’t need clicks. The CLI and scripts do it, while risky actions stay in the browser where a person sees them.
What you get
- One flat list of commands, such as list-invoices, create-invoice, send-invoice, preview-invoice, get-tax-summary and send-subscription-link.
- Money is in cents, dates are yyyy-MM-dd, and long payloads go in a JSON file with --json @file.json.
- Update commands replace every field; read first with the matching get- command (update-branding keeps fields you leave out).
- Void, record payment, immediate cancel, archive, delete template, end recurring and payout schedule are refused from the CLI and scripts by default.
- Verifying your business, linking bank accounts and wallet domains need a browser; those commands print where to go.
- Scripts run as the user who runs them; scoped API keys can’t call Payments.
