Smart pacing
Autessa Video Studio smart pacing keeps short videos moving. Set a target such as "new image every 3 seconds", and Video Studio checks every scene and proposes extra shots for the long ones, each with an AI-drafted visual prompt you can edit or skip.
The problem
One image held for eight seconds loses the viewer
Short-form audiences scroll when the picture stops changing. Working out which scenes run long, and what extra shots should show, is fiddly. Smart pacing does the arithmetic and drafts the prompts, and you decide what to generate.
Where it happens
What you get
- A target of "New image every N seconds", 3 seconds by default.
- Pacing analysis using estimated timing before voiceover and actual voice lengths after.
- Proposed shots show the part of the narration each one covers.
- Every proposed shot comes with a drafted visual prompt that describes what the viewer sees.
- Edit any prompt, deselect shots you do not want, then generate.
- The analysis is free; only the shots you generate use AI tasks.

AI assist
Where AI helps here
Drafting the visual prompts for proposed shots is free and happens with the analysis. Generating the shots you keep is one AI task per image. Nothing generates without your click.
Video Studio runs on Autessa's own AI models and shows an AI task estimate before every step that uses AI.
