How-to guides
Autodocs is a how-to guide generator: when a recording is saved, a model writes a title, an introduction and one plain-language instruction per step.
THE PROBLEM
Standard operating procedures, onboarding guides and support macros all start as “I’ll write that up later.” Autodocs writes them the moment you finish the task, in the plain, numbered style people actually follow.
When you finish a recording, Autodocs writes the guide: a title, a short introduction and one clear instruction per step, with buttons and fields named in bold.
How it works
Any saved workflow without a doc has a Write doc button.
It turns the recorded steps into a title, a short introduction and one instruction per step, naming buttons and fields in bold as they appear on screen.
Autodocs draws a highlight around the element used on each step’s screenshot.
The guide opens in Autodocs, saved under Drafts in the Autodocs Drive, ready to edit and publish.

AI assist
A model writes the article from your recorded steps. It is told to keep instructions plain, to name on-screen labels in bold and never to include a password or other secret. You review and edit before publishing.
