Content planning and calendar
Content calendar
Content Studio includes a content calendar (editorial calendar) with month and week views, an Unscheduled tray and drag-and-drop scheduling that keeps each channel's default posting time.
The problem
A content plan works best when the whole team can see what goes out each day on each channel, and what is in progress but still has no date.
Content calendar in Autessa Content Studio
A month and week content calendar of scheduled and published posts. Drag from the Unscheduled tray onto a day and it keeps the channel's default posting time.
No. 01Step by step
How does it work, step by step?
- 1
See the month or the week
Scheduled and published versions appear on their local day with the time and the channel color. Switch between Month and Week, step back and forward, or jump to Today.
- 2
Find what has no date
The Unscheduled tray lists everything in progress without a date. When it is empty it says so: everything in progress has a date.
- 3
Drag onto a day
Drag a tray item or a chip onto a day to schedule it there. It keeps its time of day, or takes the channel’s default posting time.
- 4
Spot the late ones
Overdue items and published items are marked, so you can see at a glance what slipped and what went out. An Autessa agent can also call or email the assignee about an overdue version.

Content calendar: questions
Straight answers about Autessa Content Studio.
Does Content Studio have an editorial calendar?
Yes. Content Studio’s content calendar is an editorial calendar of every scheduled and published version, by month or week, filterable by campaign and channel.
How do I schedule from the calendar?
Drag an item from the Unscheduled tray, or an existing chip, onto a day. Content Studio keeps its time of day or uses the channel’s default posting time.
What happens when a scheduled time arrives?
The version is on the calendar with its ready-to-post kit, so whoever owns it posts in seconds and marks it published with the live URL.
