Workspace, AI and reporting · Autessa IT Desk
Setup and configuration
Autessa IT Desk sets itself up with a first-run wizard: it connects its automations, sets your branding and IT staff, and can install starter content and demo data. Starter content gives you groups, SLAs, a priority matrix, catalog items, task templates, knowledge categories, questionnaires, reports and dashboards that you can keep, edit or remove.
The problem
ITSM tools that take months to configure
Traditional ITSM projects start with weeks of workshops before anyone logs a ticket. Small IT teams need a desk that works on day one with sensible defaults, and grows as they add processes.
What you get
- Seven setup steps: Administrator, Connect, Branding, IT staff, Starter content, Demo data and Finish.
- Connect creates the task trigger, the 15-minute SLA sweep and the weekday IT digest.
- Every step records itself, so a reload resumes where it stopped and running setup again only adds what is missing.
- Starter groups: Service Desk, IT Ops, Security and Change Advisory Board.
- Starter SLAs for P1 to P4 response and resolution, plus a 3-day requested item SLA.
- Starter catalog: New laptop, Software / app access, Remove access, Peripheral, Password / MFA reset, New hire (onboarding), Offboard employee and Vendor onboarding.
- Branding: your name, logo and accent color in both the workspace and the Help Center.
- Optional demo data for a small fictional company, removable any time from Settings, Sample data.

AI assist
How the IT Desk Assistant helps
On the Help page, ask the IT Desk Assistant "How do approvals work?" or "How do I onboard a new hire?" while you learn the product.
The assistant acts as you, with your role. It fills forms but never saves them, and anything risky waits for you to press Confirm.

FAQ
Questions about setup and configuration
How long does it take to set up Autessa IT Desk?
The first-run wizard walks an IT administrator through seven steps, and starter content gives you working groups, SLAs, catalog items and dashboards right away.
Can I remove the starter content later?
Yes. Settings, Sample data removes the starter set or the demo data. Starter rows you have since used, such as a questionnaire version an assessment relies on, are kept.
Can I brand IT Desk?
Yes. Set your own name, logo and accent color under Settings, Branding; they appear in the workspace and the Help Center.
