Missed-call text back and automations

Autessa Phone & Texting includes quick automations for each number: text back missed calls, email new voicemails, forward texts to phones and forward texts to email. Each is one switch on the number page, and turning one off keeps it so you can turn it back on.

The problem it solves

Small follow-ups fall through the cracks

A missed call with no follow-up is usually a lost customer, and a voicemail nobody hears about might as well not exist. Quick automations handle these everyday follow-ups for you, without anyone building a workflow.

What you get

  • Text back missed calls, so a caller you missed gets a text right away (needs texting on the number).
  • Email new voicemails to up to 5 people, with the transcript and a link.
  • Forward texts to up to 5 phones as "From <number>: <message>", without loops.
  • Forward texts to up to 5 email addresses.
  • Each automation is a trigger on your Phone calls or Text messages table.
  • Turning an automation off disables it but keeps it.
  • Build your own on the same tables, for example to post to a chat channel or add a CRM row.

How it works

How does missed-call text back and automations work?

  1. Open the number

Go to the number page in Numbers & call flows and find Quick automations.

  2. Turn one on

Switch on missed-call text back, voicemail email or text forwarding.

  3. Fill in the details

Write the text-back message, or add up to 5 email addresses or phone numbers.

  4. Build more if you need them

Use triggers on the Phone calls and Text messages tables for anything the quick automations do not cover.
