Sharing and permissions
Autessa QR codes are private by default and can be shared with a person, a team, a company role or everyone at your company. Each grant has its own access level: Viewer, Editor, Manager or Admin. The owner and company admins always have full control.
The problem
Everyone either has the keys, or nobody does
Many QR tools give a team one shared login, so anyone can delete the code on every printed package. Others lock codes to one person who then leaves. Granular QR code permissions let the person running an event switch codes on and off, the designer restyle them and the marketer change destinations, without any of them being able to delete the lot.
FROM THE PRINT SHOP
Share event codes with a team rather than individuals. People who join the team later get access automatically, and people who leave lose it.
What you get
- New codes are visible only to the person who made them.
- Share with a person, a team (including future members), a company role, or everyone at your company.
- Viewer: view the code and its scan analytics.
- Editor: also edit the destination, design and tracking.
- Manager: also rename, pause and reactivate the code.
- Admin: full control, including sharing and deleting.
- The owner and company admins are always Admins.
- General access can be Restricted or open to everyone at your company.
- Sharing always stays inside your company.

FAQ
Questions about sharing and permissions
Who can see a new QR code?
Only the person who made it, plus your company admins, until it is shared.
What access levels can I give?
Viewer, Editor, Manager and Admin. Viewers see the code and analytics; Editors change the destination, design and tracking; Managers can also rename and pause; Admins can also share and delete.
Can I share a QR code with my whole company?
Yes. Set general access to everyone at your company, or share it with a team or role.
Can people outside my company see my QR codes or their analytics?
No. Sharing always stays inside your company. People outside only ever reach the destination when they scan.
