How do QR scans show up in my web analytics?

Scans are counted in Autessa whether or not you use tags. To see them in your own web analytics as well, turn on campaign tracking. The redirect adds the tags to your destination on every scan, so the visit arrives labeled with your source, medium and campaign instead of looking like direct traffic.

Does Autessa QR Codes work with Google Analytics or other web analytics?

Yes, through UTM parameters. Turn on campaign tracking and every scan arrives with utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign, which most web analytics tools read. Autessa does not connect to those tools directly; it labels the visit for them.

Is there an API?

Yes. The Autessa CLI and API cover every QR code action: create, list, get, update, delete, set share level, share, shares, unshare and stats.

What can a QR code point to?

Any web address: your website, a landing page, a form, a file link, an app store page, or a page you build in Autessa.
