Reviewer reminders

Autessa Status Page emails your changelog reviewers every weekday at 4:30 PM Pacific: how many drafts are waiting for approval and which days they cover, how many pull requests merged today, and a link straight to the Changelog page. The email only reminds; it never approves or publishes anything. You can also have an agent call or email a reviewer when drafts are waiting.

Hi Jordan,

2 drafts are waiting for approval: Oct 31 and Nov 2.

9 pull requests were merged today. They will make up the draft for Nov 3.

Open the changelog

This email only reminds. Nothing is published until someone approves it.

The problem it solves

A gate is only as good as the people who open it

Human approval keeps the changelog safe, but drafts nobody looks at are just a backlog. A short, predictable daily nudge at the end of the workday keeps release notes flowing without anyone having to remember.

What you get

  • Weekdays at 4:30 PM Pacific, through daylight saving changes.
  • Subject like "Changelog review for Tue, Nov 3".
  • Lists the drafts waiting and the days they cover, for example "2 drafts are waiting for approval: Oct 31 and Nov 2."
  • Counts today's merged pull requests: "They will make up the draft for Nov 3."
  • Says so plainly when nothing merged today.
  • A button to open the Changelog page in Status Admin.
  • Add a person with name and email; duplicates are caught.
  • Remove a person with a confirmation; they stop getting the email.

How it works

How does reviewer reminders work?

  1. Add reviewers

In Status Admin, Settings, Changelog reviewers, select Add a person and enter a name and email.

  2. The afternoon check runs

Each weekday at 4:30 PM Pacific it reads the drafts waiting and counts today's merged pull requests in your included repositories.

  3. Each reviewer gets one email

Addressed by first name, with the waiting days, today's count and a link to the Changelog.

  4. They review

One click into Status Admin to edit and approve.
