Website analytics · Autessa Analytics
Website traffic overview
Autessa Analytics opens on a website traffic overview: unique visitors, sessions, pageviews, converted visitors, demos booked and identified visitors, with a visitors-and-sessions-per-day chart, your top pages and your top traffic sources. It is the one screen that answers “how is the website doing?” in under a minute.
The problem it solves
Traffic numbers that do not lead anywhere
Most website analytics dashboards stop at pageviews. You see a line go up or down, but not how many of those visitors converted, how many you can actually name, or which source to thank. The Autessa Analytics overview puts the traffic, the conversions and the identified visitors side by side, and every tile links to the report behind it.
What you get
- Visitors (unique people) with total pageviews, and how many email link scanners were excluded.
- Sessions with pages per session; the tile links straight to session replays.
- Converted: people who completed any conversion goal, as a share of visitors, plus demos booked.
- Identified: visitors who gave an email, as a share of all visitors; links to People.
- Visitors per day and sessions per day on one chart, with empty days filled in.
- Top 10 pages by unique visitors, with total views for each.
- Top 10 sources (UTM source, otherwise referring site, otherwise Direct); each one opens Acquisition filtered to it.
How it works
How does website traffic overview work?
Pick a range
Choose 24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days. The range is kept in the link and carried into every other report you open from here.
Read the four tiles
Visitors, sessions, converted and identified, each with a one-line hint that puts the number in context.
Check the trend
The daily chart shows visitors and sessions together, so a spike from one campaign stands out from a slow, steady climb.
Follow a thread
Click a source to open Acquisition for just that source, or a tile to jump to Conversions, People or Session replays.
Every option
What the website overview shows
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Visitors | Unique people with at least one pageview on your website in the range. The hint shows total pageviews and how many link scanners were excluded. |
| Sessions | Unique sessions with a pageview, and the average pages per session. |
| Converted | Unique people who completed any of your conversion goals, the share of visitors that represents, and the number of demos booked. |
| Identified | Visitors whose profile carries an email address, and the share of visitors who gave one. |
| Visitors per day | Daily unique visitors and daily sessions, with days that had no traffic shown as zero. |
| Top pages | The ten pages with the most unique visitors, with their view counts. |
| Top sources | The ten sources with the most visitors: the UTM source when the link is tagged, otherwise the referring domain, otherwise Direct. |
| Date range | 24h, 7d, 30d (default) or 90d. |

Computed for you
Clean numbers by default
Website metrics only count your website’s own hosts and leave out email security link scanners, so the overview reflects people, not the robots that pre-open newsletter links. The number excluded is shown on the Visitors tile so nothing disappears silently.

Questions about website traffic overview
What does the website overview show?
Visitors, sessions, converted visitors, demos booked and identified visitors for the range, a daily visitors and sessions chart, the top ten pages and the top ten traffic sources.
What counts as a visitor?
A unique person with at least one pageview on your website hosts in the range. Email link scanners are excluded and counted separately.
What does Identified mean?
A visitor whose profile has an email address, usually because they filled in a form. Identified visitors appear in the People directory with their full journey.
Which date ranges are available?
