How do I record a process in the browser?

Press Record a workflow in Autodocs. A live browser opens in the page; go to the starting address and do the task. Each action is listed as a step while you work, and Finish saves it.

Recording is where everything in Autodocs starts. Instead of a browser extension or a desktop screen recorder, Autodocs opens a real browser that runs in the cloud and shows inside Autessa, with its own address bar.

Every address, click, keystroke, scroll, hover menu and dropdown choice is captured as a step that says in plain words what it does, along with the pause before it. Typed passwords never appear in the steps. When you finish, you choose how the workflow should replay and Autodocs writes the guide.
