Certificate of Completion

When the last required signer finishes, Autessa appends a Certificate of Completion to the PDF, seals it and emails every signer and viewer a download link. The certificate summarizes who signed and when, and is cryptographically bound to the document via PAdES.

The problem it solves

The proof should travel with the contract

When a contract is forwarded, printed or filed, the signing record usually stays behind in the vendor’s portal. A Certificate of Completion inside the PDF keeps the summary of who signed, from where and when, with the document itself.

What you get

  • Appended automatically the moment the last required slot signs; sealing is event-driven, not a nightly job.
  • Also appended when you Mark as executed.
  • Summarizes the signers and their signing record.
  • Cryptographically bound to the document via PAdES.
  • SHA-256 hashes of the original, prefilled and sealed PDFs are kept on the envelope.
  • Every signer and viewer is emailed a download link.
