Autessa Document Signing
Audit trail and sealed PDFs
Autessa builds every signed PDF to prove itself. Each signature is embedded as a PAdES-B-T digital signature with an RFC 3161 trusted timestamp, each envelope carries a cryptographically chained audit trail with a Chain verified badge, and a Certificate of Completion is appended to the sealed PDF.
In one sentence
Every signature is embedded in the PDF as a PAdES digital signature, so any change after signing is detectable in any standard PDF reader, not only in Autessa.
Because the proof is inside the PDF, any change after signing is detectable in any standard PDF reader, not only in Autessa. Every signer also consents to electronic records and confirms their identity before submitting.
In this area
- A tamper-evident, hash-chained event log for every envelope.
- PAdES-B-T signatures with trusted timestamps and per-signer certificates.
- SHA-256 hashes of the original, prefilled and sealed PDFs.
- Consent and identity attestation in every signing session.
Features
Everything in audit trail and sealed pdfs
Tamper-evident audit trail
Every envelope carries a cryptographically chained audit trail in which each event hashes into the next, so removing or altering an entry breaks the chain and shows Chain compromised.

Other areas of Document Signing
Send for signature →
Autessa Document Signing turns any file into a signing envelope in four steps: upload, recipients and signing order, fields, and review.
Signer experience →
Signers never create an account or install anything: they open a link, agree to sign electronically, fill their fields and sign in the browser.
Tracking and closing →
Every envelope shows exactly where it stands and ends one of three ways: it completes, you mark it executed, or you void it.
Templates →
A template is a document set plus a field layout plus named roles, so every repeat send is only a matter of choosing who signs.
Organize and share →
Envelopes are private to the sender until shared, live in as many folders as you like, and can be handed to a colleague with ownership transfer.
Developers and automation →
Everything the web app does to an envelope, your scripts, apps and back-end systems can do through the same service and the same audit trail.
100% customizable, code and all
Make Autessa Document Signing fully your own.
Use it out of the box, then change anything. Ask Autobot, Autessa’s AI builder, for a new field, screen, report, workflow or agent and it builds it into your copy of the app. Or open the code and edit it yourself. Nothing is locked: the app, its data and its code are yours.
