Mark as executed
Mark as executed seals an Autessa envelope early, with the signatures collected so far. Signers who have not signed are marked not required and their links stop working, everyone who signed receives the final document, and a Certificate of Completion is attached. It cannot be undone.
The problem it solves
The signatures that matter are already in
Sometimes a contract has every signature that counts and one more that is never coming: a courtesy signer, a party that left, an optional acknowledgment. Voiding throws away the signatures you have. Mark as executed keeps them and closes the envelope properly.
