Envelope tracking

Autessa Document Signing tracks every envelope from Draft to Completed. The envelope list shows status, recipients and a signatures-collected-versus-required counter, with status, people, sort and search filters, and each envelope’s page shows every recipient’s milestones: invited, viewed, signed or rejected.

The problem it solves

“Did they ever open it?”

Knowing that a contract is out is not enough. You need to know that she opened it twice and never signed, or that the countersigner has not been invited yet because it is not their turn. Autessa shows the state of every slot and every envelope at a glance.

What you get

  • Envelope statuses: Draft, Sent (shown as Out for signature), Completed, Rejected, Voided and Expired.
  • The list opens on Drafts and Out for signature, your day-to-day working set; expired envelopes stay hidden until you select that filter.
  • Filters combine: a status multi-select, People (one recipient), Sort (last activity, created date or title) and Search (titles and recipient emails).
  • Each row shows signatures collected versus required, counting slots rather than people.
  • Each recipient card shows milestones: Invited, Viewed, Signed, Rejected (with the reason).
  • Under One at a time, signers past the current turn show as pending.
  • Viewers appear separately, marked Notified.
  • Drafts open in the builder; everything else opens on the detail page.
  • Select several drafts or voided envelopes and delete them together; ineligible rows are skipped and the dialog says how many.

FAQ

Envelope tracking: questions and answers

How do I see who has signed?

Open the envelope. Each recipient card shows Invited, Viewed, Signed or Rejected, and the list shows signatures collected versus required.

Why don’t I see expired envelopes?

Expired envelopes are hidden until you select the Expired filter explicitly.

Does the counter count people or signatures?

Signatures, by slot. A client group of three people counts as one required signature.
