How it works
How announcements and app launcher works in Homebase
Post an announcement
Write a title and message, pick the type (news, welcome, policy or event), who sees it, an optional department, and when it shows.
Pin what matters
Pinned announcements stay at the top on Home and on the Announcements page; HR also sees what is scheduled or has ended.
Add your apps
In Settings → Apps and links, add an Autessa app or any web address, with a short description, icon, category and who sees it.
Everyone launches from Home
Apps open in a new tab, pinned ones first. Apps and resources lists everything, grouped by category, with search.

Questions about announcements and app launcher
Can I target an announcement to one department?
Yes. Choose who sees it (everyone, managers, or HR only) and optionally one department; only people in that department see it.
Can announcements be scheduled?
Yes. Set Show from and Show until. Empty means it shows right away and stays until you turn it off.
Can the app launcher include non-Autessa tools?
Yes. Add any web address, such as your payroll provider or benefits portal, alongside Autessa apps.
