Onboarding and offboarding
New hire experience
Autessa Homebase gives every new hire their own onboarding page: a welcome from HR, the steps that are theirs (forms to fill in, the handbook to read, people to meet) and the people who will help them, their manager, their buddy and HR. Everyone else sees them welcomed on Home.
- My onboarding: a welcome, their steps and who to meet
- Steps for the new hire on their Home page
- An automatic welcome announcement for two weeks
- Required trainings assigned on their first day
The problem
A first day spent asking where things are
New hires often start with a stack of links and no idea who to ask. Homebase gives them one page with what to do and who is there to help, and makes sure the rest of the company knows they have joined.
How it works
How new hire experience works in Homebase
A welcome before day 1
As soon as their checklist starts, the new hire’s Home shows My onboarding with HR’s welcome message and their own steps.
Their own steps
Fill in tax and work-eligibility forms, read and acknowledge the handbook, complete security awareness training, complete their profile and meet the team, each with a due date.
The people who help
The page names their manager, their buddy and their HR contact, with links to search the handbook and read How HR works.
Welcomed by everyone
People who started in the last two weeks get a welcome in Announcements automatically, and the Joiners card on Home shows who is new.
