Training and LMS
Autessa Homebase includes a learning management system (LMS) for required and optional training: HR sets up a training catalog with who each training is for, how long people have, whether it repeats, and how it is completed. Every night Homebase assigns trainings to the people who need them, renews yearly ones, marks late ones overdue and sends reminders, and Learning admin exports the SOC 2 evidence.

The problem
Compliance training tracked in a spreadsheet
Security awareness, harassment prevention and data privacy training are required every year, and auditors want proof. Chasing completions by email and assembling evidence by hand takes days. Homebase assigns, reminds and records for you, so the evidence is always ready.
How it works
How training and LMS works in Homebase
Build the catalog
Start from the starter trainings (security awareness, code of conduct, preventing harassment, data privacy basics) or add your own: a course, a policy to read, a video, an app like Roleplay, or a link.
Set who takes it
Choose the audience, days to finish, whether it repeats every so many months, and turn on Assign automatically.
People complete it
My learning lists what to do, overdue first. Open starts the training; Mark complete records it with a note, or a certificate when proof is required.
Prove it
Learning admin shows completion by training and who is overdue, lets HR complete or waive from there, and downloads the evidence as CSV.

Questions about training and LMS
Does Autessa Homebase include an LMS?
Yes. Homebase has a learning management system with a training catalog, automatic assignment, yearly renewals, overdue tracking, reminders, waivers and an evidence export.
Can trainings repeat every year?
Yes. Set Repeats every (months) to 12, and every night Homebase brings yearly trainings back around for each person.
When do reminders go out?
Homebase emails a reminder a week before the due date and marks late trainings overdue every night. HR can also run reminders now from Learning admin. An Autessa agent can also call or email people who are overdue, on HR’s instructions.
Can I export training records for a SOC 2 audit?
Yes. Learning admin downloads the evidence as CSV: who completed what, when and how, with the SOC 2 control you set on each training.
Can a manager excuse someone from a training?
Yes. Managers and HR can waive a training with a reason, and the reason is kept with the records.
