Review and decisions · Autessa IDF Manager
Legal and prosecution details
Autessa IDF Manager keeps the legal and prosecution details of each invention disclosure on the disclosure itself: attorney notes, a patentability assessment, prior art analysis, docket number, application number, filing date, priority date and grant number. They sit on the Review tab, visible only to Reviewers and Admins.
- Long-form legal reasoning
- Docket and application numbers as your counsel issues them
- Filing and priority dates
The problem
The filing details live with outside counsel
Once a disclosure is approved, the conversation moves to email with patent counsel, and the internal record stops at "approved". Recording the docket number, application number and key dates back on the disclosure keeps one place where anyone on the IP team can see what happened to an idea.
What you get
- Attorney notes for long-form legal reasoning and instructions.
- A patentability assessment and a prior art analysis, separate from the inventor’s own list of known prior art.
- Docket number and application number, as issued by your counsel or the patent office.
- Filing date and priority date, entered with a date picker.
- Grant number, recorded when the patent issues.
- All legal fields are restricted to Reviewers and Admins.
- Changes are recorded in the activity feed with the names of the fields that changed.
